HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

"I’ve purchased four Monecito cardigans-three is 2025 and one in 2026. As another commenter noted, this year’s Monecito cardigan is longer than those from previous years. (It seems you can see a difference in length on some sweaters in the photos-some have more length under bottom button. ) Unfortunately, the longer length makes for a much less flattering design- it is much more frumpy and like a traditional cardigan rather than the cute cropped style it was in the past. Please change the design to its original firm F&E!"

Moral to the story. . .

"I'd posted a previous review that the Montecito cardigan style wasn't for me, but I was still obsessed with the beautiful Coast color. I decided to give it one more try and this time, I went a size larger. It made all the difference and completely changed the fit to what I was originally hoping for. Moral to the story. . . if you think a style doesn't work, maybe try a different size! I am in love with my cardigan and am now planning to buy another."

"I have the navy blue from last year in a small and I LOVE it- just ordered the off white one. . however it fits and falls differently. It’s longer and more like a “usual” cardigan. My navy was just more chic. Sadly will be returning. Still beautiful though"
