Washed Linen, 100% Linen

Our Maisie pant captures the effortless ease of a chic European holiday. Its soft texture and pull-on silhouette (with pockets!) pairs everyday comfort with unfussy elegance—perfect for exploring.

  • Flat front elastic waistband
  • Slant front pockets
  • Inseam: 26.5”, front rise: 10.5", leg opening: 27"
  • Mae is 5'9" wearing a size S
  • Washed Linen has a heavier weight and tumbled texture with hints of grain and thread throughout the fabric, adding a rich, almost vintage hand-feel.
  • 100% Linen
  • Our linen is made from European flax, while the fabric is produced in Mauritius. Our partner oversees every step, from dyeing and pre-treatment to the weaving, sewing, and finishing of the fabric.
  • We recommend washing separately in cold water before the first wear to prevent any color transfer. After that, machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low.

How to Measure

BUST

Wrap a soft measuring tape under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

Pro Tip: Keep your favorite undergarment on while you measure to get the most accurate number.

NATURAL WAIST

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

Reviews

maisie pant

"I bought these because I’m 5’3’ and was hoping they would end up full length on me. I also like the elastic waist. However, the pants were still too long, the waist too small and the pants much too baggy. I bought my regular size M and they just didn’t work. I really wanted them to!!!"

These pants are great!! I

"These pants are great!! I have definitely got middle age spread and am having a hard time finding pants that flow and fall nicely from the waist. . these pants do it!! They will be worn all summer!"

Great color

"Love these pants. The Maisie pant is flattering, comfortable, and polished at the same time. The color is beautiful and versatile, and the fabric drapes really well. For reference, I am 5’9”, around 160 pounds, curvy on the bottom, and chose the medium. The fit is just right for me: not oversized or loose, but tailored in a flattering way, which is how I personally prefer this style to fit. As a taller woman, the pants are a bit short on me, but for summer I actually think the slightly cropped length works well. One thing I do want to mention respectfully: I am always surprised by how many reviews complain about needing to tailor pants because they are too long for shorter customers. For years, almost everything from Frank & Eileen has actually been too short for me. Taller women often struggle to find pieces with enough length, too. I do appreciate that the brand seems to be starting to address this with a few newer items, and I would love to see even more options offered in different inseam lengths so both shorter and taller customers can find the right fit."

Colors may fit differently

"I love these! But I did find I took a larger size in the white and cream than I do in the navy. Baby was true to size. I don’t know why but there’s a big difference. The flat front really makes them fall beautifully!"

The most perfect linen pants!

"I had high hopes for these pants and they all came true. Great fit, length, and gorgeous material. The flat front with the elasticized back and pockets contribute to the perfect design. I wear a S in the triple fleece pants, an 8 in the Waterford shorts and used the reviews and Wair sizing tool to guide my size decision."

Casual Comfort

"These linen pants hit all the marks for comfort. With a causal, comfortable vibe, this piece will be worn often in the warm months ahead. The modern leg kicks up the style."

Perfect Summer Travel Piece

"I received my navy cropped Maisie, and I’m in love with the effortless and stylish flow—I’d say romantic in a way. I plan to order more colors as they appear because linen is and always will be my go to for summer—F&I designs the BEST pieces with quality fabrics. I sized up intentionally for a very fluid look."
