  • A lighter sibling to our Italian Dream™ Denim, this paperweight denim holds its shape without sacrificing comfort.

  • Our cotton is spun, dyed, and woven into fabric at our Italian partner’s denim mill, which is located on a European nature preserve. Once it reaches sunny California, the final steps—cutting, sewing, dyeing, and hand-finishing—are all completed within a 25-mile radius.
  • We recommend washing separately in cold water before the first wear to prevent any color transfer. After that, machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low.

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

"I tried this on in a boutique in NC but they did not have my size so I ordered online and was pleasantly surprised to see the color selection was huge (boutique was more beach--light denim, stone and white offerings). I will wear this year round but especially in the transitional portions of spring and fall. I have worn it for 4 days straight since it walked in the door--never even washed it, just put right on! I love wearing it with a fun top, dressy T and sandals, flops or even tennis shoes. Love Famous Denim

"I love a shorter skirt and the famous denim. I wanted it to sit lower on my hips (I am a rectangle shape…no waist but no real hips either) so I ordered a size up from my normal F&E size 6 pants and still could have gone with the 6. I liked it too much to wait for an exchange though, so I kept it. It is a great skirt that looks good with many tops and is nice and lightweight denim! I wish the white Jameson skirt came in white denim instead of linen!"

"I love most everything about this skirt: color, soft fabric, pockets. If I could change one thing, it would be to replace the hook closure with a button or snap. The hook can be difficult to engage…and makes the fabric stick out slightly. It would look more flat with a button closure. For reference: I’m 5’5” 130LB & the 6 fits great!"
