"I now have this dress in the voile and washed linen. I prefer the voile because I find the linen to e hot but I will appreciate the linen in cooler weather. I am usually a medium and these seem roomy to me - comfortable but a bit blousy in the back. However, both are enjoyed and I bought the second in the same size because I wanted breezy comfort but do wonder if the small would have been better."

"I was a bit hesitant on this one, but the fabric was is so easy going for the summer and cool (even in navy!). I tie a scarf around the waist for a neat look and roll up the sleeves. Love the look, a total keeper! I usually order S but in this dress I went with XS"

"I really love this shirt, although I should have ordered it in a size S (my usual size), but it wasn’t available. The fabric is just the right weight and it drapes nicely. The only improvement I’d make? POCKETS! Pockets make every dress better, especially a casual number such as this beauty."

"This is a very lightweight fabric that would have been good for my South Carolina summer, but the dress pooches out in the butt area, as some other reviewers have noted. I wonder if it’s just a problem with the voile fabric. It’s cute from the front, but the side view is not flattering on me. I have a very slender build, and don’t usually have this problem. Perhaps I’ll try the denim version this fall. I’ve loved my other F&E purchases!"

Cool comfort
"This dress was the solution to a previous problem—my very first F & E purchase was the black Mary, which turned out to be a bit too short on me for my preference. I thought Rory in black would be the other extreme in length, but I’m glad I finally gave it a try, because when I unbutton the bottom button for a bit of a slit, the length is just right for my comfort. I especially like the voile fabric for the upcoming warmer weather, because it is so light and breezy. In fact I think it might feel too sheer in a lighter color,without a slip but the black fabric really isn’t see-through,so I only need that one light layer, and it’s very cool and loose for warm summer weather. I needed one size smaller than I usually wear though/-I’d advise sizing down."
