  • Front and back patch pockets
  • Mid-rise fit
  • Zip fly with hook-and-bar closure
  • Length: 15.75" (size 4)
  • Simone is 5'8" wearing a size 4
  • This garment is made using indigo fabric with a small batch stone washing process, giving each garment a unique look that will evolve and fade over time
  • A lighter sibling to our Italian Dream™ Denim, this paperweight denim holds its shape without sacrificing comfort.
  • 91% Cotton, 7% EME, 2% EA
  • Our cotton is spun, dyed, and woven into fabric at our Italian partner’s denim mill, which is located on a European nature preserve. Once it reaches sunny California, the final steps—cutting, sewing, dyeing, and hand-finishing—are all completed within a 25-mile radius.
  • We recommend washing separately in cold water before the first wear to prevent any color transfer. After that, machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low.

How to Measure

BUST

Wrap a soft measuring tape under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

Pro Tip: Keep your favorite undergarment on while you measure to get the most accurate number.

NATURAL WAIST

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

Reviews

jamison denim skirt

"This skirt is the perfect staple and it's fit is flattering. I hesitated due to the price but it will be a forever piece and I have not seen anything else that is as perfect as this."

3rd one!

"This denim is my 3rd Jameson skirt. The denim fit a bit more snugly at the waist than the linen ones. On the other hand, the fabric feels like it won't stretch out as quickly as the others. It's comfortable and flattering to the legs, hips, etc. I hope F & E keeps adding colors because this is a keeper. I like the length, but at 5 '5" I'm not especially tall. There may be a little room in the hem to get it altered if it's short on you. All in all, great for summer, great for traveling, can wear it with nice sneakers or sandals or whatever. Very versatile!"

Lala A. (5/5)

Love it

"This skirt is comfy, cute, and very versatile. The length is perfect. It’s quickly become a go-to in my closet!"

Roberta R. (5/5)

Darling little skirt

"Love the denim skirt. I fit either a 4 or a 6 but kept the 6 because it can be pushed lower onto the hips giving a little more length which at 60+ I wanted. The 4 fit better around but the difference is barely noticeable. It is a lt weight skirt and a stand in for shorts. It is short —- make no mistake. It’s also expensive. I have two other jeans skirts that were not even half the price and they are great too."

Perfection

"Beautiful denim, just enough stretch, flattering fit for casual wear."

Jameson skirt 1984

"Fits snug. Suggest sizing up since it’s so short . It’s very comfortable in next size but still firm fitting which I wanted"

Suzanne H. (5/5)

Gorgeous

"This is the absolute softest skirt! So flattering, stretchy and comfortable. I love it. I probably could have sized down, but I’m happy with it as is."

Christine C. (5/5)

Nice versatile skirt

"I own the skirt now in 4 different colors ❣️ I think that shows that I love the skirt! I just buy it in a bigger size to wear it a bit lower to get a bit more length out of it! Two inches more in length would help … Other than that a very cute, lean and versatile skirt what goes with everything❣️ I love also the stretchy material as well, makes it very comfortable to wear❣️"

Ilka K. (5/5)

Kathryn R. (5/5)

Great skirt

"I love this skirt. It fits well and the fabric is soft and light weight. It will be perfect for spring and summer. I wear an 8 and the size is spot on."
