BUST

Wrap a soft measuring tape under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

Pro Tip: Keep your favorite undergarment on while you measure to get the most accurate number.

NATURAL WAIST

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

Size up a bit

"I tried to consider the sizing recommendations for the Theo tee when purchasing this dress. I am fitting a medium in most things now, pants, Olivia and Patty. This dress is slimming, but heavy tee material. I had to stretch the bottom out a bit to make it fit a little looser so the wiggly bits don’t show, but I love it otherwise and will be GREAT for summer and travel."

Disappointed in the fit and fabric quality

"This style of dress is right up my alley. I have a very similarly styled dress from Vineyard Vines (white and navy striped) that is now too big because I've lost weight. So I was very happy when I saw this option from Frank & Eileen. But that happiness turned to disappointment when I unboxed it and tried it on. The fabric is thin and the one I tried on fit very weird. Like it was sewed on the left side with a different body outline around the hips than on the right side. It just did not fit well or flatter me at all. For the price I paid it does not compare in quality or fit to the Vineyard Vines dress I had."

"Always lovely and well made, the Lauren dress is perfect just above knee length and a great summer item tgat goes everywhere. I selected British Royal Navy… just be aware that this is appears black. If I hold it up to any other black in my closet, it matches. Not as summery a look as Navy."

"This is the best pink! The dress (small) is a little snug across the bust. I have another Lauren in medium and that one fits better - I "needed" the pink so went out on a limb and bought the small on final sale. For reference, I wear small in Eileen, Mary and Finley; prefer medium for Lauren and Ireland"
