  • 250g store bought or homemade pizza dough
  • ½ cup shredded Caciocavallo or Provolone
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Tomato sauce
  • Sea Salt
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil
  • Anchovies
  • Oregano and basil

    Tomato Sauce

    Dice an onion and garlic. Saute in pan with butter until caramelized. Add tomato sauce, salt, dried oregano, let simmer for at least 30 minutes

    1. Preheat a cast-iron skillet and your oven to 500°F
    2. Carefully take the hot pan out of the oven and drizzle with olive oil
    3. Press out your dough in the pan 5-6 inches, ensuring it's still thick in the middle
    4. Spread a layer of shredded cheese and top with tomato sauce. Sprinkle breadcrumbs, olive oil, and sea salt on top
    5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked
    6. Drizzle with more olive oil, fresh herbs, and anchovies

    Pizza oven
    1. Preheat your pizza oven to 750°F
    2. Press out your dough 5-6 inches, ensuring it's still thick in the middle
    3. Spread a layer of shredded cheese and top with tomato sauce. Sprinkle breadcrumbs, olive oil, and sea salt on top
    4. Bake for 3 minutes, then turn off flame and leave until fully cooked (about 5 minutes)
    5. Drizzle with more olive oil, fresh herbs, and anchovies
