How to Measure

BUST

Wrap a soft measuring tape under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

Pro Tip: Keep your favorite undergarment on while you measure to get the most accurate number.

NATURAL WAIST

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

"I have mixed feelings about these shirts. I bought in 3 different colors. I love the way they look with the exception of the cut edges. Can we stop with the cut edges already?! "You said it ran small. I have worn large my whole life and this shirt does not run small. My advice to you is not to tell people how it runs, big, small, or in between. I will not buy from you again and am now shopping for Frank and Eileen at Nordstrom. Their service is impeccable . I thank them every day for it."

Not the same sizing or fabric

"I love my two other Charlotte tops and was so excited about this wonderful color! However, the sizing on this one was different - slightly snugger in the bust/chest. The fabric also was not as substantial and soft as my other ones. Sadly, I had to return it but primarily due to sizing. I do want to give a shout out to the F&E associate with whom I had a very positive email exchange!"

Too small

"I have this top in 5 colors from last year and the large size fit great. It is cut differently than most of your other tops-more fitted -and I loved it. For some reason they cut this year’s version smaller than last year’s and although I loved the color this year’s top was uncomfortably small and I needed to return it. I was very disappointed."

Wanted to LOVE this shirt

"After looking at the size chart and reading the reviews I discovered that I’m actually between sizes so I sized up to an XL. After receiving the shirt here’s my assessment after trying it on. I love the feel and look of the shirt . But the size is odd for me. I’m 5’8”, 160 pounds. I have broad shoulders, they’ve always been an issue. So the shoulder/chest part of the shirt is great. From the bust down the shirt is HUGE. It’s totally made for a square person. Not someone who is more rectangular shaped. I’m going to keep the shirt. After washing it I’ll try it on again to see how it fits. If it’s still as huge on the width I’ll take it to have altered to fit my shape. I’d love to buy a couple more of these shirts, but with the weird fit, I won’t."
