Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.
HIP
Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.
Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.
INSEAM
Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

"I love Frank & Eileen, but these Madeline pants in denim were a sizing miss. I got the Maisie and a medium and tried that for the Madeline. There wasn’t enough stretch in the waist to pull it up comfortably so I returned it for a large. For a large, it seems very short in the rise. I had them shortened and kept them, but I wish I hadn’t."

"I bought these in the blue denim. I did end up having them hemmed with the original hem so that added to the price. I wish F&E would offer a shorter hem. Anyway, these pants are so lovely, the color, the drape, the pockets. The sizing was recommending a small to me, but I went with the XS and they are perfect. So I am 5’4, 122 pounds, 28 inch waist, 34 inch hip. I went with the xs because that is the size of all my F&E sweatpants. I know they are pricey, but they are really special. I would say the color blue is a bit deeper and more saturated than the picture and I like that."
