Our Chat with Radhi

As a Los Angeleno resident (by way of London) who has fully embraced the ease of California living, we sat down for a cuppa Juni tea with Radhi Devlukia to chat better materials, dressing with intention, and choosing all-day styles that make you feel good.

FRANK & EILEEN: To us, materials really matter. Our California Heritage Collection is all about expressing the relaxed heritage of Frank & Eileen with 100% cotton pieces, made in California. How aligned do you feel with our mindful, sustainable approach to slow fashion?

RADHI: The more I’ve learned about wellness, the more I’ve realized it’s not just what we eat or how we move—it’s also what we surround ourselves with every day. What we wear sits on our skin; it becomes part of our environment.

I’ve definitely shifted away from buying more to buying better pieces that feel good, that last, and that I actually want to wear again and again. There’s something really grounding about knowing where something comes from and how it’s made. It brings a level of intention into something as simple as getting dressed, which I think we’re all craving more of.

F&E: How does the relaxed, indoor-outdoor lifestyle of California inspire your personal approach to style?

RADHI: There’s this ease here, where you can move between home, nature, and work without needing to completely change who you are in each space.

I’m always drawn to pieces that feel effortless but still put together. Things I can wear while cooking, working, going for a walk, or meeting friends, without feeling like I need to “switch outfits” for each part of my day.

F&E: As an entrepreneur, a writer, and an Ayurvedic cook, you really need to be ready for anywhere! How do you approach getting dressed for your beautifully full life? Is there a particular way you want to feel?

RADHI: For me, getting dressed is a mix of how it looks and how it makes me feel.  My days can move between so many different roles—filming, cooking, meetings, writing—so I need pieces that feel comfy but still cute.

If I feel good in what I’m wearing, I show up differently. I’m more present, more creative, more connected to what I’m doing.
