Brennan is the barrel jean we all want. Made in our new California Vintage Denim, this softly structured, incredibly comfortable jean plays with proportion in a way that looks and feels fresh. A gently curved “barrel” leg hits your ankle and beautifully accentuates your waist.

NATURAL WAIST

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

"I originally ordered my usual F&E Galway size (24), but found it a bit too fitted to let the soft California Vintage Denim really flow. I exchanged them for a size 25, and they are perfect. The rear darts and higher pocket placement give my 35.5" hips a nice lift. They gracefully skim the thighs rather than hugging too tight. They hit at full-length for my 5'2" height, which I love because it makes them versatile for styling with different shoes. Plus, the 1993 Wash is so elegant. Simply obsessed!"

"I wasn’t sure about the barrel jeans trend, but these are amazing. Soft but with structure, somehow flattering and slimming, great denim wash. Based on another review, I sized up from my usual 27 to 28. I’m glad I did. The 28s are super comfortable and a little slouchy without looking oversized. ( 5’5” & 121 lbs. ) It’s the most I’ve ever paid for jeans. Ouch! But I will wear them a lot — especially when I think about dollars per wear! ;)"

"These are the very best barrel pants of all time. I never thought barrel style was flattering until I tried these. I have two colors and will definitely be getting more. The butt is perfect and so is the fit on the legs and length. The stretch is so nice too. It is not at all stiff. I am 5’6, 129 lbs and got the 27 in the bone and denim colors. The 26 would be good but I wanted comfort."

"These are nice barrel pants but unfortunately they don’t work as well for my body type as some other brands of barrel jeans. I think they are best for a leaner, small waisted petite or a taller woman. Petite and straight up and down without much of a waist doesn’t get it. I do like the rear details such as the darting at the waist."
