Luscious black denim
"The black denim has the nicest “hand” of any denim I have ever felt bar none. It’s sooo good I don’t have enough words for it. The sizing of this dress does run small. There was some seriously good engineering put into the design and fit as it is very flattering. I hadn’t considered a size large before in any item F&E makes but I am concerned that the medium is a skosh snug whereas the large is too big. I am waffling on which size to keep. The pockets on the dress are great, even the ones on the bum look good due to the placement. The dress is short and I wish my legs were longer but I like this dress so well that I’ll wear it for my own enjoyment. Overall it is a terrific dress, especially in the dream denim. I have seen some unhappy reviews where the dress was purchased on final sale wihout the purchaser having tried it on previously. This is a good one to know your size in advance of any irresistible deals or purchasing on Reloved."
Size M Ireland dress exchanged for Size L = Terrific
"I bought this 1984 wash Italian denim dress in size M after reading comments in the reviews. It was attractive; however the chest was so snug that it created a gap between the top two buttons. I contacted customer service for the garment measurements of size L and exchanged my original order for size L. It is a superior fit for me. I am 5'3", about 40-34-39,a few years past age 60. In the larger size everything is flattering and shapely without appearing oversized. The finished length of the garment is a full inch more than on a size M. My older self will appreciate that extra length down the road. Sleeves are a bit long but they look great turned up. I may add one more button and buttonhole above the first button. I expect to wear and enjoy this timeless dress for a decade or two."
Not exactly as shown!
"I wanted to love this dress but it is definitely not as long as shown on the model. I am barely 5'6" - I am guessing the model is a few inches taller - and the dress is at least 4-5 inches above the top of my knee. I purchased a Small and weigh 115 lbs. Otherwise the fit is good. Also - the denim is not particularly lightweight??? Too bad the dress is not longer as shown. I have to return it. :-("
Wonderful dress but not for the well endowed
"Love the fabric! Love the color! Love the length! Love everything about this dress but it is not made for those of us lucky enough to have a larger chest. If you are someone who is comfortable wearing a tank top with it and leaving the dress unbuttoned, that could work for you, but that's not me. Plus for the price, it needed to be something I would reach for often and not be self-conscious in. Everything else about the dress fit perfectly, except the chest area. Sadly, I returned it."

"I had to return the Small but the Medium fit perfectly. I'm 5'6' and the length was fine. Very comfortable on with nice details - it will look good with boots or tights in the fall."

"LOVE the dress, ordered small, my normal size and fits perfectly. The fabric is super comfortable and versatile, of course, it's denim! I had also ordered the Cabana stripe style in small which was too big! The only thing I would say is the dress is basically all the same color without "faded" areas as shown in the pic, which I would have preferred."

"Love this dress!! The soft fabric and rich color make a perfect outfit for work or play depending on accessaries. I tried the medium first, too tight, large was too tight and extra large just right. It seems to run small, my usual size is medium. But the XL fits perfectly so you have a very happy customer once again."
