Inspired by our beloved Ireland Playsuit and Jumpsuit, this dress has the same never-too-tight fit, scrunchable sleeves, and six handy pockets as her two Irish sibling styles—but in an outrageously wearable dress silhouette that's both flattering and functional.

  • A lighter sibling to our Italian Dream™ Denim, this paperweight denim holds its shape without sacrificing comfort.
  • 91% Cotton, 7% EME, 2% EA
  • Our cotton is spun, dyed, and woven into fabric at our Italian partner’s denim mill, which is located on a European nature preserve. Once it reaches sunny California, the final steps—cutting, sewing, dyeing, and hand-finishing—are all completed within a 25-mile radius.
  • We recommend washing separately in cold water before the first wear to prevent any color transfer. After that, machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low.

BUST

Wrap a soft measuring tape under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

Pro Tip: Keep your favorite undergarment on while you measure to get the most accurate number.

NATURAL WAIST

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

Wonderful dress but not for the well endowed

"Love the fabric! Love the color! Love the length! Love everything about this dress but it is not made for those of us lucky enough to have a larger chest. If you are someone who is comfortable wearing a tank top with it and leaving the dress unbuttoned, that could work for you, but that's not me. Plus for the price, it needed to be something I would reach for often and not be self-conscious in. Everything else about the dress fit perfectly, except the chest area. Sadly, I returned it."

"LOVE the dress, ordered small, my normal size and fits perfectly. The fabric is super comfortable and versatile, of course, it's denim! I had also ordered the Cabana stripe style in small which was too big! The only thing I would say is the dress is basically all the same color without "faded" areas as shown in the pic, which I would have preferred."

Love this dress!! The soft

"Love this dress!! The soft fabric and rich color make a perfect outfit for work or play depending on accessaries. I tried the medium first, too tight, large was too tight and extra large just right. It seems to run small, my usual size is medium. But the XL fits perfectly so you have a very happy customer once again."

Super happy with this one!

"I first ordered the Ireland in performance linen (XS) but the fabric was a little heavier weight than I wanted and the fit had a little less wiggle room than desired, so I exchanged it for the dream denim. Fabric & fit on this one is perfect. . . it's super cute, lighter in weight and softer than the linen version, plus a bit roomier with some stretch. For reference, this runs significantly smaller than my XS classic linen Mary dress, and just a bit smaller then my XS denim Mary, so I'm saying the overall fit on the Ireland is small. The length is 2 or 3" above the knee on me, similar length to the denim Mary. I'm very glad I kept this one!"

Love, love this denim dress

"I owned this Ireland dress in the lighter denim and while I really liked it, ended up buying the dark denim which I loved (selling the lighter color). Am actually leaving for Ireland next week on a cruise and can’t wait to wear it. It feels decadent on and is super flattering. I am a medium in other Ireland dresses (performance linen) but ordered the large in the denim which is a better fit for me. It’s a splurge but if you are considering, you won’t regret it! One of my favorite Frank & Eileen pieces."

"Light and stretchy denim. I am so glad I sized up as it is a little longer and not so form fitting. I have size S in the linen version. Other reviews said size up in this model and I sized up to a M. Perfect! Sleeves are long however I always roll up anyway. Very pleased and wear it often. 125 lbs 5. 2."

Great dress!

"I originally got the dress in linen and loved it so much I got it in the denim as soon as it came back in stock in my size (XXS). The fabric is, of course, entirely different than the linen, but I really like the weight and the amount of stretch that this version has. The only negative is that the dress is all one color, not decoratively faded as pictured. I would have preferred it to look more like the picture, but not enough to send it back. Just wanted to provide full disclosure. It's extremely comfortable. The fit is great and I love the overall look of the dress. I highly recommend it!"

Dissappointed on this dress unfortunately.

"I love Frank & Eileen clothes but this dress is a disappointment. It has an unpleasant scent in a fabric even after washing it, that I am not able to describe. Not sure if I will ever end up wearing it. Fit is fine. Material I find too thick."
