Luxurious Fabric and Beautiful Pocket Detail

"I am a mature, mid-70s, short and slightly curvy. I am 5ft I inch. and slightly curvy. I have a short body torso and my legs are longish. . . so I am not a true petite. Usually petite pants look like high-water waders on me. I purchased XS. My waist is 27 inches measure across the top of the belly button. My hips are 35. 5 in. I believe This brand sizing is pretty close to true-size. I've only purchased 1 other item, a dress. , size XS. . . it fits EXACTLY. If I gain an ounce. . . . I would need the next size (S) which would then be a little large, I think. Good incentive to bump up the exercise and avoid eating like a lumberjack. which can happen while trying to achieve 100 grams of protein, daily. I love these pants. Fabric quality is over-the-top wonderful! The beautiful braiding on the pocket is delightful. I haven't yet laundered them but I believe they will still be lovely after. OK. . . here's the thing about fit for me. I am thankful I caught the sale bcuz, in order for these to be the correct length shown on model (I'll call it gaucho length), alterations are a must which will add $40+. I will consult with the tailor to find out if he can successfully complete alteration to a shorter length without losing the beautiful drapy line. If not, it is a no go. I Might still be able to wear the pants with a kitten heel and if that misses the thumbs up. . . in total desperation. . . against everything I think about flat shoes. . . . I will try a flat shoot/boot. . I'm not tech savvy but it the photos I think I am uploading make it. . . you can see a true fit. I would love a matching/same exact color velvet top but pictures show a green velvet shirt since I do not have the dream shirt. . The shoes are included only to show how pants fit with a 2 inch mule heel. AND. . . also see the barefoot look to better understand length relating to your measurements. I do other plan to wear these shoes. Last ditch effort. . . these pants would be luxurious when lounging-at-home Rough-measure of pants' : inseam is 26. 5 and outside length rough measure is 36 inches from top of elastic waistband to hem's bottom."
