How to Measure

BUST

Wrap a soft measuring tape under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

Pro Tip: Keep your favorite undergarment on while you measure to get the most accurate number.

NATURAL WAIST

Stand up straight and relax your stomach, then wrap a soft measuring tape at the midway point between the bottom of your ribcage and your hip bone. Avoid pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

HIP

Stand with your feet hips width distance and flat, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest point of your hip.

Pro Tip: Sitting down while you take this measurement ensures accuracy and provides added comfort for the best fit.

INSEAM

Use a soft measuring tape to measure from the highest point of your inner thigh to the bottom of where the pant will hit. For instance, if the inseam is 27”, you’ll measure 27” down.

Pro Tip: Measuring with shoes on lets you see the full picture and ensures your pants fall exactly where you want them.

Favorite F&E denim skirt

"Absolutely love the Shannon 1978 skirt! It was an instant favourite and is already on repeat in my wardrobe. The length is perfect, the fit is incredibly flattering, and the denim has that effortless, lived-in feel that Frank & Eileen does so well. It’s one of those pieces that’s so easy to style and makes you feel put together without trying too hard. Definitely a new wardrobe staple!"

Very comfy skirt

"I love the skirt. The denim fabric is very soft and lightweight. (But substantial. ). The length is perfect for me. It comes at my knees which is way better than the other F & E skirts. I gave it four stars only because the waist is a little snug and because it is a button closure and not a zipper, you can see the pull at the waist. I got a size 28 which was recommended but maybe a 29 would have been a better choice. The fabric is stretchy so it is not a tight fit."

Jamison is awesome, but I need it longer for fall!

"I love my Jamison skirts, but now that it will be fall soon, I need a longer version of all these great new colors. Maybe 4-5” longer would be wonderful. When I dine out and sit down this skirt can ride up my leg, so longer but still just over the knee would be amazing!"

a wardrobe staple

"I love a piece that has incredible versatility. This darling denim number can be dressed up or down and taken pretty much anywhere. The skirt doesn't know it yet, but it's made the Final Cut for a month long trip to Europe."

The Perfect Denim Skirt

"Great fabric, substantial enough to not show lumps and bumps , pocket placement and length are ideal. I wore this on a trip to Canada with a group of other 70+ aged ladies, along with many other F&E items. They loved this and several of them placed orders for this and my Belfast jacket. I let them try my clothes on, so they’d know what size to buy. I’m 5’3, 175 pounds and I bought size 32."

A great skirt!

"What a great skirt! Love the retro vibe with the button-up front. On me it comes almost below the knee which is perfect. I started out with my usual 29 and it was loose in the waist. The 28 fits perfectly."

Love this skirt!

"Finally a F&E skirt in a length for a 75 yo! Really thrilled. Practically my entire closet has become F&E and this is what I was missing. It is designed as a skirt not as a sawed-off jeans skirt I wore in the 70’s hitchhiking around Mexico. I still prefer skirts over pants for Hawaii weather and this one is perfect. I bought sizes 29 and 30 and weigh 140, both fit. ❤️"

Perfect Denim Skirt

"Perfect length, soft denim. Very versatile. I wasn’t sure about it when it arrived, and sat it aside. After a few days, I tried it on again and fell in love! It’s perfect."

Keeping this one!

"I love this skirt and plan to have it for the next 25 years! Have already worn it 3 times."

Just a wee bit shorter for the likes of me and my non 5’10 frame.

"I do wish there were choice in length. I LOVE THE MATERIAL, fit and everything. It will look great in the fall with sweater and boots."
